17 Bank St.

New York, NY 10014

17 Bank Street in the Greenwich Village historic district was replicated using a variety of techniques to recreate  all of the intricate details.

The fence panels were cast loose using an original fence panel from 19 Bank Street.

The Front balcony was built using a balcony on West 11Street as reference for both dimensions and architectural  features .The patterns for the panels and ornamental brackets were hand carved in hard maple.

The patterns for the handrail, turnout volutes, newel posts and window guards were cast from match plate, created from a digital acquired image carved on a CNC router.

Each of the these pieces are hand rammed in green sand. Cast, machined and  blended seamlessly into a complete finished product - all in house at our facility in Canarsie Brooklyn.
